Submissions Now Open for 2027 ATEC Awards

ATEC is now accepting nominations and applications for its 2027 awards, recognizing outstanding students and educators and supporting professional development opportunities for aviation maintenance instructors. Award recipients will be recognized at the 2027 ATEC Annual Conference, April 4–7 in Wichita, Kansas.

The following awards are available:

• James Rardon Student of the Year Award — Recognizes a student who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership, and meaningful community impact.
• Ivan D. Livi Aviation Maintenance Educator of the Year Award — Recognizes an aviation maintenance instructor who exemplifies outstanding teaching, dedication, and commitment to aviation maintenance education.
• Professional Development Awards — AMT instructors may apply for professional development opportunities supporting equipment-based training, industry workshops, and participation in ATEC Academy.

Submissions for all award categories are due December 1, 2026.
