ATEC Journal Welcomes New Editor, Honors Outgoing Leader

The Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC) extends its sincere gratitude to Karen Johnson for her service as editor of the ATEC Journal over the past eight years. Karen sustained and grew the Journal with steady leadership, and we are deeply grateful for her many contributions to the publication and are pleased that she will continue to serve on the editorial board to support the transition to a new editor.

We are happy to welcome Daniel Siao as the incoming editor. Daniel has served on the ATEC Journal editorial board for more than five years, first representing Middle Tennessee State University and now Auburn University. His experience across institutions reflects his long-standing commitment to advancing the field, and we are confident the Journal will thrive under his leadership.

The ATEC Journal serves as a vital forum for scholarship, research, and ideas in aviation technician education. The fall issue is currently in progress, paper submissions are due October 1.

On behalf of the editorial committee, we thank Karen for her years of dedicated service and welcome Daniel as he leads the Journal into its next chapter.
