ARSA Releases 2026 Global Fleet & MRO Market Forecast
The Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) has released its 2026 Global Fleet and MRO Market Forecast, offering an updated look at the forces shaping the aviation maintenance sector.
Prepared in collaboration with Oliver Wyman, the report shows a global industry exceeding $140 billion, supported by more than 5,000 companies employing nearly 430,000 professionals worldwide.
While the industry continues to move beyond pandemic-era disruptions, the outlook underscores ongoing challenges tied to supply chain instability, workforce shortages, and the loss of experienced technicians due to retirements.
At the same time, maintenance demand remains strong. Aging aircraft, evolving technologies, and engine complexity are expected to drive continued growth, with maintenance revenue projected to outpace fleet expansion.
The report was presented as part of ARSA’s Legislative Day, equipping industry leaders with current data to support workforce and policy discussions.
