2026 Competition Highlights Industry Talent

If last year’s Competition set the bar high, this year confirmed the momentum continues.

Held during MRO Americas, the 2026 Competition brought together top teams from across the aviation maintenance industry, showcasing the technical skill, precision, and teamwork that define the profession—and the training programs preparing the next generation.

In the School category, Tulsa Tech – Adult Students earned top honors, with Universal Technical Institute – Houston and Tarrant County College rounding out the top three.

Across other categories, industry leaders delivered strong performances. Aircraft Engineers International repeated as the top team in General Aviation, while FedEx led both the Commercial and MRO/OEM categories. In the Military division, the United States Army 128th Aviation Brigade continued its dominance.

Beyond the rankings, the Competition highlights something bigger: the collaboration between educators, employers, and industry partners to develop skilled aviation maintenance technicians.

It was great seeing so many ATEC member schools participate in this year’s event. Your students are impressive!
