Professional Bio
Mark A. Shoenfelt, has been in the aviation career field since 1992, having worked in higher education, management, transportation, and aviation maintenance (both heavy commercial and general aviation aircraft).
Additionally, he served nine years in the U.S. Army Reserve in transportation and as an instructor and owned a business in transportation and aircraft repair for several years. He currently resides in North Carolina with his wife and two sons and is a lifelong avid motorcyclist.
Mr. Shoenfelt holds an Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Master of Aeronautical Science Degree (MAS) with dual specializations in Aviation/Aerospace Management and Aviation/Aerospace Safety Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Management Degree (BSAMM). He also holds an FAA Aircraft & Powerplant License (A&P with previous Inspection Authorization) along an FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL) with Radar Endorsement and FCC Global Marine Distress and Safety System Operator/Maintainer License (GMDSS DB) with Radar Endorsement. Additionally, he holds a Class A Commercial Drivers License and various Heavy Construction equipment endorsements.
