The 2026 ATEC Annual Conference: What’s Taking Shape

Momentum continues to build for the upcoming annual conference, with speaker confirmations underway and 20 breakout sessions now announced. Taking place March 29–April 1 in Portland, the conference brings together aviation maintenance educators, employers, regulators, and partners for three days of insight, collaboration, and connection.

Confirmed speakers represent a broad cross-section of the aviation workforce ecosystem, including leaders from the FAA, airlines, repair stations, community colleges, universities, and industry associations. Participants will hear perspectives from organizations such as Horizon Air, FEAM Aero, Snap-on, Duncan Aviation, Clemson University, PSI, Oliver Wyman Vector, and part 147 and secondary programs from across the country.

ATEC is grateful for the strong industry support behind this year’s event. Alaska Airlines Group joins as the presenting sponsor, and attendees will be welcomed by host institution Portland Community College. Additional supporting organizations include Aviation Supplies & Academics, Inc., Republic Airways, United Airlines, Avotek, and Snap-on.

The exhibit hall will serve as a central hub throughout the conference, featuring solution providers, training vendors, and aviation employers actively hiring students and graduates. Employers will be on site to connect with schools, discuss pathway programs, and explore partnerships that turn education into career opportunities.

Attendees will also enjoy multiple networking and social events, including a welcome reception overlooking downtown Portland, an evening under the Spruce Goose at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, and a closing reception at Punch Bowl with food, games, and Snap-on's annual trivia challenge.

Attendees are encouraged to book hotel accommodations by March 2 to secure the ATEC group rate. For the latest agenda, confirmed speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and a growing list of attendees, visit the conference landing page.
