If you teach avionics, the CAET Train-the-Trainer course is built for you.
CAET (Certified Aircraft Electronics Technician) is the avionics industry's foundational credential, built by the Aircraft Electronics Association with input from the repair stations doing the hiring. When your program teaches to the CAET credential, your graduates walk into the industry already speaking the language the shops use.
The Train-the-Trainer course gets you ready to teach it. Two days, hands-on, at Omega Aircraft Services in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Dennis Falasco walks you through how to teach wire harness fabrication, system integration, pitot-static testing, and industry test equipment the way the shops hiring your grads actually do it.
You will spend 16 hours learning directly from a working industry professional at a certified repair station. The course covers how to build a wiring harness from an installation manual, how avionics systems work and integrate into the aircraft, how to inspect and test pitot-static systems, and how to operate industry-standard test equipment. Every participant also gets access to the CAET Online Prep Course (a $359 value) covering the complete online theory curriculum, so you have the classroom side covered as well.
Upon completion of this course and successful completion of the CAET exam, you receive an AEA-authorized CAET instructor certificate and the hands-on confidence to teach avionics the way industry intends.
