New Leadership Joins ATEC Board During Annual Fly-in
During its annual board meeting, held at the conclusion of the Fly-In in Washington, D.C., the ATEC board of directors welcomed three newly elected members.
Denise Hensley of Putnam City Schools will represent the academic category as a high school representative. Her school is currently implementing the Choose Aerospace curriculum, giving her a unique perspective on preparing the next generation of aviation professionals. Gillette Samms, of the Alabama Community College System, will represent the AMTS community, offering insight into school operations and workforce development. From industry, Jeremy Rangel of Duncan Aviation will provide a valuable perspective from the MRO community, contributing his expertise on employer needs and technician career pathways.
ATEC also extends its heartfelt gratitude to departing board members Karen Johnson of Southern Illinois University, Kim Pritchard of Zipline, and Justin Bernard of Moore Norman Technology Center. Their leadership and service have been deeply appreciated, and their contributions will leave a lasting impact on the organization.
