Celebrating Four Years of Ekanos: Next-Generation AMT eBooks for A&P Programs

As ATEC celebrates the four-year anniversary of its affinity partnership with Ekanos, we’re excited to highlight the continued impact this interactive eBook platform is making across the community.

Designed to support FAA part 147 aviation mechanic certification standards, Ekanos provides schools with an out-of-the-box solution for modernizing their curriculum and delivering engaging, interactive training for today’s aviation maintenance students.

Ekanos eBooks go beyond traditional digital textbooks by incorporating interactive content, virtual simulations, and hands-on activities that make complex aviation maintenance concepts easier to understand and apply. The platform includes General, Airframe, and Powerplant modules, giving programs the flexibility to support training across the entire A&P curriculum.

Over the past four years, Ekanos has expanded into community colleges, for-profit organizations, MROs, airline apprenticeship programs, universities, technical colleges, and A&P schools across 13 states, helping strengthen aviation technical education and workforce development nationwide, reaching thousands of students and trainees.

The Ekanos platform continues to evolve, with new tools designed to support both instructors and students. The Ekanos app is now available through the App Store, giving students convenient access to their course materials on mobile devices. Instructors can also use the Instructor Portal to create assessments and quizzes, monitor trainee progress through dashboards, and track scores and performance.

As a special benefit, ATEC members receive a 20% discount on standard user fees. For more information, visit www.ekanos.online.

We appreciate the continued support of our members and encourage those who haven’t yet explored Ekanos to see how it can enhance their training programs and benefit their organization.
