Professional Bio
Scott Colling currently serves as Director, Tech Ops Training Programs. Scott supports Training Compliance, Delivery, and Training Development & Standards. Tech Ops Training supports both the Technical Training Programs for our AMT’s and Inspectors, in additional to our Business and Ops Support Departments. Scott is also responsible for developing Southwest’s AMT D225 Program, designed to attract, train, and retain future AMT’s.
Scott joined Southwest Airlines Ground Operations in 1991 and has held multiple positions within the Company- AMT, MX Controller, Manager MX Control, Director MX Operations, and supported the Western, Central, and Eastern Regions as a Production Director.
Scott obtained his Pilots Certification in 1988, and Airframe & Power Plant Certifications in 1991. Scott and his wife Christine reside in the Dallas area.
