Jim Ellis

Upon graduating from A&P School, James Ellis began to work as an AMT for a small regional airline owned by US Air. During his time at Piedmont, he was promoted to the role of a Training Instructor and fell in love with Learning and Development. He then chose to pursue a career and further education within this field. He worked in various L&D roles for Kawasaki, Honda Aircraft, Swift Air, and now PSA Airlines while pursuing more degrees in Adult Education and a Master's in Training and Development. His passion is developing training strategies and methodologies for teaching technicians.
