Professional Bio
Hussain Malik is the Founder and President of HOFT Institute, an ACCET-accredited educational institution in Austin, Texas, bringing decades of experience in adult education, workforce training, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and professional development.
Mr. Malik holds a Master of Science degree in Materials Science Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Poona in India.
Throughout his career, Mr. Malik has focused on helping individuals acquire the technical, communication, and professional skills needed to enter and advance in high-demand industries, while helping organizations develop the workforce they need to grow. Under his leadership, HOFT has served local, national, and international students through customized education and training programs.
Mr. Malik currently leads HOFT's aviation workforce development initiatives, including the development of a "Train-the-Trainer" program designed to help experienced aviation maintenance technicians become more effective instructors. The program focuses on classroom pedagogy, communication skills, and instructional techniques to help address the aviation industry's critical shortage of qualified instructors and technicians.
