Frank Johnson

​Frank Johnson is the proud recipient of the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. He is a FAA licensed Airframe & Powerplant technician ​with 50 years of aviation experience. ​Employed by the Airbus Training Center for 38 years, he currently serves as Quality and Regulatory Compliance Manager with oversight for the Quality, Business,​ and Simulator Management​ Systems​ including ​EN9100​ standards​. ​He supports approved Flight​ Training, Maintenance ​Training and Flight Simulator Training Devices​ approvals. Strategic roles include Crisis Management Team Coordinator and Ethics & Compliance Representative. He formerly served as a Customer Support Director and prior to that was HO Maintenance Training where he was instrumental in introducing Airbus Fly By Wire technology in the Americas. He often presents advanced technology and training concepts to aviation forums worldwide. He is a graduate of Miami Dade College. Frank serves on various advisory boards as well.
