Shawn Foshee

I have many years of experience in the United States Army aviation including 1999-2002 active duty, and 2012-present with Oklahoma Army National Guard. I have served as an Aircraft Powertrain Repairer in multiple levels of leadership and currently serving as back shops platoon sergeant. I have been on several deployments which allowed me to grow my skills as mechanic and in management. I have worked as a federal technician on Blackhawks and spent time working alongside Customs and Border Patrol in support of that mission. Attended Level 2 NDI Training at Redstone Arsenal for Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and Fluorescent Particle inspection.

Some civilian career highlights include; 14 years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber in production where I was trained in LEAN, Six Sigma and served on the Safety Council for several projects. I spent 6 years working in the automotive industry and developed SOPs, managed workflow, technician training, and increased annual income by 2 million during that time. In an effort to increase my knowledge, I attended Great Plains Technology Center, Aviation Maintenance course to develop knowledge base of FAA and civilian aviation and looking for the next step to continue my personal and professional growth.
