Professional Bio
My passion for aviation maintenance began at a young age while spending time in an aviation shop owned by one of my dad’s friends. As a novice, I was always eager to watch, observe, and learn from the people working around me. Those early experiences sparked my interest in aviation and inspired me to pursue my Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
I am pursuing a career in aviation maintenance because I want to turn that early inspiration into a profession built on knowledge, skill, and dedication. My goal is to begin working in an entry-level airframe and powerplant maintenance position at my local county airport, where I can continue learning, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a dependable aviation maintenance professional.
I consider myself hardworking, committed, and driven to succeed. I am a strong textbook learner who values understanding the principles behind the work I do. I know that aviation maintenance requires attention to detail, responsibility, and a commitment to safety, and I am prepared to put in the time and effort necessary to develop those qualities throughout my training and career.
Receiving an ATEC scholarship would help reduce the financial challenges associated with pursuing my education. Assistance with tuition, books, and potentially housing would allow me to focus more fully on my studies and professional development. I am determined to make the most of this opportunity and build a future in a field that has inspired me for years.
This scholarship would be an investment in my education and my goal of becoming a skilled, safety-focused aviation maintenance technician. I am ready to work hard, continue learning, and take the next steps toward turning my passion for aviation into a lasting career.
