Professional Bio
Sheryl Oxley joined the team at Tulsa Tech in 2004 as an aviation maintenance technology instructor, she became the aviation programs coordinator in 2015. She has served 27 years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft maintenance technician and phase dock chief on F-16 and A-10 aircraft and has been deployed to multiple combat regions. In addition to her military experience, she has worked with Delta Airlines, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, and Bombardier Aerospace in both hangar heavy maintenance and line maintenance. Oxley has coordinated and led students volunteering at EAA AirVenture and KidVenture since 2010, served as a PAMA Olympic and AMC Coach, and been a designated mechanic examiner since 2008. Oxley has led Tulsa Tech’s AMT Program realignment under the new part 147 and serves on ATEC’s board of directors; she holds a Bachelor of Science in career and technical education from Oklahoma State University. Oxley enjoys hiking, mountain biking, home improvement projects, working on various vehicles at the house, and playing with her dogs.
