Professional Bio
                            Eamonn Powers, PhD is an instructional design researcher and trusted source of knowledge for all things aviation training. He is the Manager of the Bombardier Aircraft Service Training Network and has previously served as Director of Courseware Design at FlightSafety International. Eamonn has a Doctoral degree in Education from Old Dominion University, an MBA from the University of North Dakota, and holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate, a Certificated Flight Instructor rating, and seven aircraft type ratings. Academically his teaching and research interests have focused primarily on educational games and simulations, with specific emphasis on the use of various levels of immersive media to enhance training transfer between learning experience and real-life application. Additionally, he has several published works discussing large-scale organizational change through process mapping, transformational training, and organizational transparency.
