Welcome to atec-amt.org! ATEC stands for Aviation Technician Education Council. It is an organization of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Aviation Maintenance Technician schools and supporting industries. ATEC was founded in 1961 to further the standing of FAA approved schools with education and industry, and to promote mutually beneficial relations with all industry and government agencies.
MISSION
To advocate for aviation maintenance schools in the areas of curriculum
improvement, technical and financial support, while promoting mutually
beneficial relations with related government and industry groups.
