Boeing Flight Services will once again provide 24 scholarships for AMT instructors to attend a one-week 787 General Familiarization course at the company’s training facility in Renton, WA, June 26-30, 2017. This course is designed to satisfy the ATA 104 Level I objectives describing basic aircraft measurements and attributes, normal system functions, and major components; a Boeing factory tour in included as is transportation to and from the factory. The course content relates to what AMT educators are teaching their students, so instructors will be able to use what they learn to further inspire students. I am very interested in 777 and 787 Gen Fam courses. This would enhance my inspecting scope.
