Qualified candidate will have responsibility for teaching aviation courses from the department’s offerings, providing classroom and laboratory instruction in aviation maintenance subjects and related technologies to a diverse student population enrolled in the aviation, associate of applied science degree, and airframe and power plant certificate programs.
Qualified candidate will direct the college’s comprehensive aviation maintenance technology program including management of the off-campus airframe and powerplant instructional location at the Plymouth Municipal Airport, manage a fleet of aircraft, and supervise an instructional team and other program staff.
The College of Technology and Occupational Sciences at Northern Michigan University invites applications for a faculty position in Aviation Maintenance Technology. This is a continuing earning position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to begin in August, 2016.
