Aeronautical Engineering Technology Assistant Professor, Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN

Successful candidate will (1) Develop and teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in aeronautical engineering technology and related areas (2) Conduct externally-funded applied research, collaborate with other academic units at Purdue and externally, and engage with government and industry (3) Serve on graduate committees (4) Perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring. 

Minimum qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in engineering technology, engineering, education, or a related field
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification

The process of reviewing applications begins September 30, 2016, and continues until a candidate is selected.  Proposed date of hire is for the Spring 2017 semester.
