Who are the Members of ATEC?

Membership comes from the approved Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) schools, the aviation industry, and government industries. The council is primarily an organization of schools with each institution having one vote. Membership is divided into these classes:

WHY JOIN ATEC?

If you are a school administrator or instructor in a school, you need to:

  • Meet and communicate with other people in positions similar to yours from across the nation.

  • Add your voice to the one organization that solely represents and works for the improvement of Aviation Maintenance Technician Schools.
  • If you are form the aviation industry or a government agency, you can:

  • Provide a communications medium between the schools
    and industry.

  • This presents an opportunity for your input and help in
    making mutually beneficial changes in the training of
    aviation maintenance technicians.
