Northrop Rice Foundation Scholarship and Award Program

The Northrop Rice Foundation are starting another year’s program of distributing financial, equipment, technical book, and tool support to AMT students, instructors, and part 147 schools. The program will also provide support to U.S. military veterans enrolled in AMT training programs or working to convert their experience into an A&P license, and to students enrolled in Avionics training programs. Here is a summary of the opportunities: 

• AMT Students: 15 financial scholarships ($500 - $1500), 5 tool sets (value $4000 each), and 10 technical book sets (value $250 each); 
• AMT Instructors: 29 scholarships ($800 - $5000) for industry training courses; 
• AMT Schools: 2 equipment awards (values $550 and $12,280) and a $1,500 financial grant to assist the school in any manner it desires; 
• Veterans: $1500 scholarship for a veteran in a school’s program, and financial support awards to veterans seeking an A&P license using their military experience; and 
• Avionics Students: 10 technical book sets (value $240 - $270 each). 

These scholarships, awards and grants are made possible by donations from ten (10) program sponsors and by the members of Northrop Rice Foundation.
