On Thursday Sept. 8 industry leaders will gather in Washington for the council’s annual Fly-In. Attendees will crisscross the nation’s capital to meet members of Congress and staffers to sound a unified message: Help aviation maintenance schools build the technical workforce of the future.
The Fly-in will provide the opportunity to encourage policymakers to pass laws that bolster the efforts of instructors and students as they build the next generation of aviation professionals. Attendees will inform congressional leaders of the issues at the forefront of aviation maintenance education (see ATEC's legislative priorities) and those concerns unique to your institution. It is also a great way to educate policymakers about the numerous ways the industry impacts communities across the country.
Space is limited. Fly-in registration opens in July.
